Configuration is a purchase decision
Memory and storage in the 2022 13-inch M2 Air are not normal plug-in upgrades. A used machine with too little of either cannot be made equivalent to a higher configuration with a simple module swap. Confirm both specifications before comparing prices, and distinguish this model from the later 15-inch M2 Air.
Serviceable assemblies
Apple’s manual covers the battery, display, top case with keyboard, trackpad, speakers, MagSafe board and USB-C boards. A failed port or charging board can be addressed separately from the entire laptop, though the documented work still needs the specified tools and experience. If both MagSafe and USB-C charging fail, the fault may extend beyond one port board.

Check the battery, display, keyboard, both USB-C ports and MagSafe charging. Account locks must be removed before a used purchase. A repair history is most useful when it names the replaced assembly and service provider; liquid exposure or a bent enclosure can make a single-part estimate unreliable.
