Wireless controls
iFixit's accessory-antenna board guide discusses recurring controller disconnections. That board is a distinct part from the optical drive or fan.
Storage and cooling
The SSD guide specifies an M.2 2230 form factor, but physical replacement alone may not restore operation; the drive can require Microsoft-specific formatting software or tools.
